Factors affecting Photovoltaic (PV) power output
The PV power output is influenced by many factors. Figure below illustrates the complex interaction between the different factors. The link connecting any two factors indicates the possible interaction between the factors.

Here are few contributions to the understanding in the domain of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) energy systems
Degradation observation on Photovoltaic (PV) panel
To check for degradations, visual inspection can be carried out frequently. We attempted to correlate visual degradation and loss in the PV power output .
Figure below shows the formation of a colder region due to air trapped in the bubble formation. Three-dimensional image with the temperature shown in the vertical axis

Thermal image comparison of PV panels before and after cleaning the dust
The common phenomenon observed in most of our panels were the absence of heated cells post cleaning.

Pre-requisite : MATLAB installed on your computer

Step 1) Copy the two files in a separate folder and extract.

Step 2) Start MATLAB and choose the folder where those files are copied as current running directory .
Step 3) Double click the (.m) file
“simrad_transp_sw_opaq_lw.m”
Step 4) Click Run
