Degradation observation on Photovoltaic (PV) panel

To check for degradations, visual inspection can be carried out frequently. We attempted to correlate visual degradation and loss in the PV power output .

 

Figure below shows the formation of a colder region due to air trapped in the bubble formation. Three-dimensional image with the temperature shown in the vertical axis

Pre-requisite : MATLAB installed on your computer

​

Step 1) Copy the two files in a separate folder and extract.

​

Step 2) Start MATLAB and choose the folder where those files are copied as current running directory . 

 

Step 3) Double click the (.m) file  
“simrad_transp_sw_opaq_lw.m”

 

Step 4) Click Run
